High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

Cut down on your meat intake to control your high cholesterol. You must skip Double Meat Whataburger and Triple Meat Whataburger at all costs. I want to go here more often, pretty good food - but the staff is kind of short tempered. Our waitress came up to us and didn't say hello, but "What do you want?", really. I smiled and said good morning, and tried to warm her up. It is hard to go to a local restaurant and have not so friendly staff wait on you. They have good food, great prices, they could clean the restaurant better. I will try it again, hopefully better.

Bleh. Raw fish, cold food, bad sweet iced tea and long waits. All problems were somewhat corrected but I couldn't wait to get out of this place. Had to eat a microwaved steak and pay 16 bucks for it. We were seated by the bar which had a large jug containing something gross sitting on top of it along with other foods in jars. The items clearly weren't supposed to be there and were disturbing to have to look at the entire time. Spent about an hour and a half in the restaurant and prob only 15 mins eating. Won't be going back.

After neighbors recommended this restaurant we were disappointed. Do not order Belgian waffle it was dried out. Home fries were not very tasty. Will go back and try other item

This place about the only local thing the Punta Gorda Burnt Store area offers, needless to say it does the job. There are two large RV parks and I-75 close by, so this area needed a local eatery and Burnt Store Grille provides that. It isn't anything special, but the breakfast is a hit. My family live local and they eat here all the time. There isn't any competition so they keep the customers coming back. For lunch I like the gyro, it tastes good, is reasonably priced and the portion is more than enough. It is usually an older crowd, they love the bottomless coffee; the staff are attentive and the cook is open to any meal modifications you want, which is great.

Reasonable diner - type food. If you like diners in NJ and NY you will feel right at home here.

Burnt Store Grille is one of the few local options in the south part of Punta Gorda. That's the only reason we have returned there. We have eaten Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner there so I believe I have given them reasonable opportunities to impress me. I am not impressed! Service has been consistently slow - one time we sat there for 15 minutes looking at the menu and the waitress never came by to even say she would be with us shortly. (the restaurant was less than 1/2 full at the time). The food is pretty much average - nothing special. The atmosphere is pretty much what you would expect - it's busy during Snowbird season, probably because there isn't much else to choose from in that area.

I've been to this restaurant multiple times with my family, because we're usually on our way to the airport. The food is pretty good. My only issue is the service, it's always a hit or miss. I never know if we're going to get a good waitress or one who has had a bad day. Not to mention that they are busy a lot of time and very understaffed. I can only imagine if that's the reason why there have been so many times where a waitress has been a little rude. I would be upset too if I was running around double time. B- for this restaurant. They need more people in their staff so that the waitresses aren't so burnt out.

Love the lunch! Had the pot roast and reminded me of Iraq and MRE's lol. But hey, all restaurants have a couple bad menu items

Really fast service, not the most bubbley but still polite. Food was amazing and came out quick. I had the gyro with cheese omlette and added a side of corned beef hash. The omlette was fluffy and the gyro meat was well seasoned. I would come here again

Great little local place which fills up quickly. I'm surprised by the number of items they have on their menu...over 70. In time I will try them all. Very close to Home Depot so I LOVE that.

This is a great mom and pop type restaurant. Almost every imaginable type of cuisine available. Not something I look for in a restaurant, but this just magically happened. About 5 minutes from my Welcome Center, I gambled one day. Called up and ordered a gyro. A gyro, wait a second I have had to wait for the fair to come once a year to enjoy such a delight. Yes I eat fair food, omg I love it! Although I hate to hear the patron in front of me call a gyro a..a jyro. Please people! Anyway... I've eaten here at least 6 times, and every dish I order is top notch. Fresh ingredients, friendly service, and a full bar! Breakfast rocks here on the weekends, but it's worth the wait. Stop here now, you'll be very satisfied!

Visited here for breakfast. Fast service, good food, and great breakfast special prices! We had the BLT with a fried egg and cheese special - YUM! Home fries were good as well. Definitely recommend.

We've been to Burnt Store Grill a dozen times for breakfast, and it is very solid. They'll even fry tomatoes if you request it. Service is always friendly, but can be a bit slow on busy weekends. Good place to come with kids, and easy to recommend.

Not the greatest food and way overpriced for what you get. $8 for a wrap? lots of options but all seem overpriced for the kind of place it is. Clean, friendly staff and good if you're really hungry but I wouldn't choose to go there if weren't the only option in that shopping center.

Food was fantastic, service was great, and the prices were more than reasonable. This is the second time we have been here. The last time was several years ago. I recommend this to anyone who is ready for home cooked food and tired of the big box restaurants

The Punta Gorda area could use a diner type restaurant and Burnt Store Grill does try to fill this void. nothing exceptional, but not over priced. despite the rating not recommended.

  • Maggie J.

Absolutely the worst breakfast I have ever had. Their "scrumptious" waffle tasted like cardboard and was just as tough to cut and chew. Tell the cook not to beat the badder to death. The small eggs were over cooked and the paper thin bacon was almost nonexistent. On top of that, it cost $13. Terrible. The ambiance was dreadful as well.

The spinach pie was the best! What a varied menu & reasonable prices.
